Open to anyone willing
You do not have to belong to the hosting organization, or to any church, to lend a hand. If you want to show up, the date, the place, and the person to ask for are right there.

Every listing carries the hosting organization's own contact details, and a signup link if they have one. J217 points people toward the work and then gets out of the way.

A host posts what it has coming up
Any church or faith-based organization holding to the historic Christian faith can submit an activity. It takes a couple of minutes, there is nothing to sign up for, and there is no fee.
Every submission gets read
Each one is reviewed by a person before it goes live, so the board stays accurate and stays worth checking.
People show up
The listing goes out with the date, the location, what is needed, and how to reach the host directly.
J217 is new, and that is the honest pitch.
It started from one observation: the good work already happening in local churches and ministries is mostly invisible to the people who would gladly join it. There is no staff here, no membership roll, and no money changing hands.
J217 is also not the one leading this. Jesus is. Every church and ministry on this board is answering Him, not us, and whatever good comes of it belongs to Him. This is a noticeboard in service of that, and nothing more.
